Guardian Family Program – Give a Dog a Loving Home and Join Our Mission
Our Guardian Home Program in Utah makes that possible — giving families a chance to welcome one of our very best Australian Labradoodle puppies while helping us continue our mission of raising healthy, happy, well-socialized dogs.
When you join our program, you become part of the Red Desert Family — and a vital partner in preserving the quality, health, and temperament of our breeding lines.
What is a Guardian Family?
A Guardian Family receives one of our pick-of-the-litter Australian Labradoodle puppies at a significantly reduced cost in exchange for partnering with us during the dog’s breeding career.
Your puppy lives in your home as a beloved pet, enjoying all the love and comfort of family life.
Red Desert Doodles retains breeding rights for a limited time, during which your dog may return to us for breeding or whelping. Once retired, we cover the spay/neuter cost, and full ownership transfers to your family — giving you a top-quality, well-trained companion for life.
It’s a beautiful partnership: you provide the home, we handle the breeding, and the dog receives the best of both worlds.

How the Guardian Program Works
For Female Guardian Dogs:
Your female Labradoodle will return to us for a short period when she is ready to whelp and raise her puppies.
We care for her in our home until the puppies are weaned — typically 6–8 weeks — then she returns home to you.
For Male Guardian Dogs:
Male guardians may be used periodically for breeding. Each visit is short, usually just a few hours, and guardians receive compensation per litter sired.
Compensation:
✓ Male Guardians: $150 per litter sired
✓. Female Guardians: $300 per litter whelped
